Dr. Seddik Abdel Salam; Vice President of Alexandria University for Graduate studies and Research declared that the British government in collaboration with the Egyptian government will provide grants provided through Newton-Mosharafa Program under title:

Institutional Link Grants for Cultural Heritage 2016

The available grants shall support joint research projects between Egyptian universities and the British research institutions with total fund of 300 £ as maximum.

Alexandria University Council agreed at its meeting held on Tuesday, July 26, 2016, headed by Dr. Rushdi Zahran, president of the university, on the transfer of supervision of the Technical Institute of Nursing in Alexandria, from the Faculty of Medicine to the Faculty of Nursing, Alexandria University.

The Council also approved the agreement and letter of Intent between the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Alexandria and the Arab Academy for Science and Technology and Maritime Transport

Alexandria University Council agreed at its meeting held on Tuesday, July 26, 2016, headed by Dr. Rushdi Zahran, president of the university, a promotion and appointment of 28 from faculty members, and granting 46 doctoral degrees and 101 master degrees at faculties and various institutions.  

 

DR. Seddik Abdel Salam; Vice President of Alexandria University announced for the available grants through various programs

provided by Science and Technological Development Fund (STDF) to finance scientific researches as following:

* Basic & Applied Research Grants (STDF-BARG)

* Reintegration Grants (STDF-RG)

* Young Research Grants (STDF-YRG)
