Electronic Learning at Alexandria University seeks to achieve fast communication between student and professor and to provide more learning opportunities for more students to learn in responding to present day demands. Electronic Learning Center of Alexandria University was established in 2005 as one of the projects of the Development Projects Management Unit in the university. This project aims at producing number of electronic courses with electronic learning centers at Egyptian universities, besides to dissemination of electronic learning culture in governmental and special learning institutions. In addition, teaching staff members and students are being trained on the methods and models for interaction via network during studying electronic courses.
