Finishing all procedures of transferring between faculties within the first month
Alexandria University Council for Education and Student Affairs during its session on Monday 22nd August 2016 headed by Dr. Hisham Gaber decided to finish all transferring procedures of students between faculties within the first month of the academic year. Dr. Hisham called all faculty members to attend consistently in the campus and to communicate with students and encourage them to involve in students activities. He also called to prepare the Student's Guide to inform new comers about various faculties and its divisions in addition to student's rights and duties.
"El-Kurdi" took a tour in university faculties to follow up receiving the new students
Dr. Essam El-Kurdi, the university deputy for Community Service and Environment Development and acting president of the university stressed on understanding the differences between the university level study and earlier education stages. He explained that the university study requires continuous communication between students and teaching staff, practicing scientific research and improving skills through development courses and student activities.
This came during a meeting organized by the Faculty of Medicine on Saturday morning, 24 of September 2016 to receive new students with a participation of Dr. Hisham Gaber, the university
deputy for Student Affairs and faculties deans in order to follow up which security procedures to secure students and university facilities at the first day of the academic year.
Alexandria University allocates 3 scholarships for Chad branch alumni
The Council of Graduate Studies and Research at Alexandria University during its latest meeting headed by Dr. Essam El-Kurdi, the university deputy for Community Service and Environment Development and acting president of the university decided to allocate three scholarships for higher studies to alumni of every batch of Chad branch faculties in addition to providing opportunities for practical training for Chad alumni in Alexandria University campus.
Alexandria University raises the slogan of "Use the local product" in all tenders
The Council of Graduate Studies and Research at Alexandria University during its latest meeting headed by Dr. Essam El-Kurdi, the university deputy for Community Service and Environment Development and acting president of the university stressed that using the local product should be preferred as a first priority in all tenders in Alexandria University either projects or equipment supply. The target is to operate the local factories and companies and increasing employment and achieving an increase in gross domestic product.
Application is now open for "Newton-Mosharafa" program
The General Department for Cultural Relations at Alexandria University declared that application is now open for the program of the scientific missions through the agreement (Newton-Mosharafa) between the Governments of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland with the Government of Egypt.
