The Council of Graduate Studies and Research at Alexandria University during its latest meeting headed by Dr. Essam El-Kurdi, the university deputy for Community Service and Environment Development and acting president of the university stressed that using the local product should be preferred as a first priority in all tenders in Alexandria University either projects or equipment supply. The target is to operate the local factories and companies and increasing employment and achieving an increase in gross domestic product.

 

The General Department for Cultural Relations at Alexandria University declared that application is now open for the program of the scientific missions through the agreement (Newton-Mosharafa) between the Governments of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland with the Government of Egypt. The General Administration of cultural relations at the University of Alexandria announced the start of scholarship programs in England for 2017/2018 to study the masters for one year in any field of study in any of the English universities, no later than November 8, 2016

The Faculty of Engineering, Alexandria University will hold the 70th graduation ceremony batch 2016 on Friday 14th of October 2016 in faculty headquarter.

In this regard, the Dean Dr. Abdel Aziz Konswa stated faculty commitment to education development and preparation of students for the labor market. He also affirmed keeping contact with alumni and the importance of Continuing Education to achieve our dreams for Egypt.

 

Alexandria University Council for Community Service and Environment Development during its meeting held on Wednesday 21 September 2016 under the chairmanship of Dr. Essam El-Kurdi, the university deputy for Community Service and Environment Development and acting president of the university decided to organize awareness campaigns for the youth to rationalize water consumption through holding seminars and the distribution of publications in all faculties of the university urging students to conserve water.

Dr. Kurdi stressed on faculty deputies the necessity of removing the wastes after finishing the necessary maintenance work for labs and buildings, and to ensure their safety before the start of the academic

year in order to ensure the safety of faculty members, employees and students.
