Under the auspices of Professor Dr. Abdelaziz Konsowa, President of Alexandria University, Dr. Ali Abdelmohsen, Acting Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, inaugurated the Heritage Exhibition for the Cultural Communities Day, organized by the University's International Students Affairs Department. The exhibition featured the participation of students from 19 different nationalities. The exhibition was held at Alexandria University Stadium, in the presence of consuls, advisors, and cultural attachés from various countries, deans and vice deans of various faculties, and a large number of students.
During his tour of the exhibition, Dr. Ali Abdelmohsen expressed his pleasure for the spirit of unity and cooperation demonstrated by the international students, noting that this event sends strong messages about the unity of nations and the values of tolerance and brotherhood. He thanked the students for embodying the highest human values and wished them continued success. He emphasized the importance of supporting international students, given their significant role in strengthening Egypt's educational and cultural standing in the region. He noted his pride in this cultural diversity at the university and that support for international students is not limited to academics alone, but also includes cultural, social, recreational, and sports activities.
Dr. Hala Maklad, Executive Director of the International Students Department, noted that this celebration represents a cultural festival where civilizations converge at Alexandria University. She praised the artistic and cultural exhibits presented by the students, which reflect the heritage and culture of their countries, and affirmed the administration's continued support and services throughout the students' studies at the university. The events included a variety of creative activities, including presentations on traditional food and beverages, clothing, handicrafts, and paintings that reflected the artistic skills and heritage and cultural landmarks of 19 participating communities of various nationalities.
International students of various nationalities expressed their happiness at participating in the cultural and social events organized by the university, which allows them to learn about the cultures of different peoples. They emphasized the university's support for them in academic and social fields, providing them with a distinguished educational level that enables them to compete in international labour markets
