The Board of Trustees of Alexandria National University held its first meeting for the 2026/2027 academic year, chaired by Dr. Mohamed Nasr El-Din Demir, Chairman of the Board, and attended by Dr. Ahmed Adel Abdel Hakim, Acting President of Alexandria University, and board members.

The meeting highlighted the efforts of faculty and administrative staff in supporting the educational process and facilitating student admission procedures. The Board also reviewed the university’s academic performance report for 2025/2026, including student numbers, success rates, and the role of the Guidance, Counseling and Psychological Support Center in providing academic, social, and psychological support.

The Board approved a cooperation protocol with Riaaya Company to enhance healthcare services for students, as well as the university’s membership in the Association of Arab Universities.

The meeting also reviewed the university’s participation in EAIE Glasgow 2026, held in Scotland from September 8–11, as part of its efforts to strengthen internationalization, expand academic and research partnerships, and provide students with broader opportunities for international exchange and collaboration.
