
The Community Service and Environmental Development Council of Alexandria University, chaired by Prof. Afaf El Oufi, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, reviewed preparations for the new academic year and emphasized the completion of strategic plans across all faculties and institutes to support the University's development goals.
The Council also highlighted the upcoming launch of the University's psychological and social support platform, and discussed awareness activities on reproductive health and family development in cooperation with the Ministry of Health and Population, in line with Egypt's Vision 2030.
During the meeting, distinguished faculty members, students, staff, and the top-performing faculties and institutes in energy conservation were honored in recognition of their outstanding community service efforts. The Council also reviewed reports on community outreach activities, literacy programs, digital transformation training, employment initiatives, and various social and environmental projects carried out by the University's faculties and institutes during June and July 2026.
