Under the auspices of Prof. Ahmed Adel Abdel Hakim, Acting President of Alexandria University, Prof. Affaf Al-oufy, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, launched the “Ensat” psychological support platform and inaugurated the Alexandria University Cultural Salon Theatre, as part of the University's strategy to promote mental well-being, support cultural and artistic activities, and nurture student talent.

During the event, Prof. Al-Oufy emphasized that culture and the arts play a vital role in building awareness and developing students' personalities, noting that the new theatre provides a platform for creativity and meaningful dialogue. She also explained that the “Ensat” platform offers confidential psychological, social, and legal counseling services to university members and their families through qualified specialists.

The theatre opened its first season with the play “Trauma”, highlighting the impact of domestic and social violence on mental health. The event also featured a demonstration of the “Ensat” platform and concluded with an interactive discussion, receiving positive feedback from students for its role in promoting mental health awareness across the university community.
