Prof. Ahmed Adel Abdel Hakim, Acting President of Alexandria University, has issued a decision appointing Prof. Abdel Aziz Emara, Professor of Agricultural Engineering and Biosystems at the Faculty of Agriculture and Executive Director of the University's Faculty and Leadership Development Center, as Coordinator of Alexandria University's branch in the Republic of Chad for a one-year term.

The Acting President of the University emphasized that this appointment reflects Alexandria University's commitment to strengthening the role of its international branches, advancing its educational and research system, and enhancing the academic and administrative performance of its branch in the Republic of Chad. He noted that the appointment supports the University's vision and mission while reinforcing its position as one of the leading academic institutions at the local, regional, and international levels.

Alexandria University's branch in the Republic of Chad is part of the University's strategy to expand its international presence and strengthen academic and scientific cooperation with African countries, in support of Egypt's efforts to internationalize higher education and foster educational and developmental partnerships across the African continent.
