Dr. Ahmed Adel Abdel Hakim, Acting President of Alexandria University, received Dr. Khaled Al-Muharib, Head of the Cultural Office at the Embassy of the State of Kuwait in Cairo, and his accompanying delegation, as part of efforts to enhance cooperation between both sides and to review the conditions of Kuwaiti students enrolled at the university. The meeting was attended by Dr. Hala Moqled, Executive Director of the International Students’ Affairs Administration.

The meeting addressed several topics related to the educational and research process, in addition to following up on the status of Kuwaiti students across various faculties of the university at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

During the meeting, Dr. Ahmed Adel Abdel Hakim emphasized the deep historical and fraternal relations between Egypt and Kuwait, and the strong cooperation that unites them in the fields of education and scientific research. He noted that Alexandria University is keen on providing a comprehensive and supportive academic environment for Kuwaiti students and all international students, ensuring the preparation of graduates capable of competing locally and internationally. He also added that the university places the care of international students among its top priorities by providing academic support, fostering a stimulating environment for excellence and creativity, and encouraging participation in various university activities. He further affirmed the university’s commitment to following up on the status of students residing in Kuwait and other Gulf countries, and taking flexible measures to ensure the continuity of the educational process without interruption.

For his part, Dr. Khaled Al-Muharib expressed his pleasure at visiting the prestigious Alexandria University, extending his appreciation to its administration for its efforts in providing high-quality education in accordance with international standards, and for its commitment to developing students’ skills and refining their scientific and practical capabilities. He noted that the State of Kuwait places great importance on sending its students to reputable Arab universities, particularly Alexandria University, affirming the Cultural Office’s keenness to maintain continuous communication with Egyptian universities to follow up on Kuwaiti students’ affairs, ensuring the quality of educational outcomes and achieving the best academic results for them.
