
In a step that reflects Alexandria University’s commitment to internationalizing education and strengthening its global academic presence, Professor Dr. Ahmed Adel Abdel Hakim, Acting President of Alexandria University, and Professor Mark Smith, President of the University of Southampton, UK, signed an academic cooperation agreement to launch a joint academic pathway. This pathway will enable Faculty of Engineering students to complete their studies and obtain a Master’s degree from the University of Southampton in accordance with international academic standards.
Professor Dr. Ahmed Adel Abdel Hakim stated that the agreement was signed virtually online, emphasizing that this collaboration aims to provide an integrated educational experience combining both local and international study. The initiative is designed to prepare graduates with the skills and knowledge required to compete in the global job market.
