The University President was accompanied during the tour by Dr. Afaf Al-Oufy, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, along with a number of faculty and institute deans. The tour included the medical complex faculties, the Humanities Complex, and the Faculty of Engineering, where Dr. Konsowa joined students in the flag salute ceremony at the Faculty of Engineering courtyard.

Dr. Konsowa explained that the Ramleh Tram development project comes within the framework of establishing a modern mass transportation system befitting Alexandria Governorate, alongside the metro project linking the eastern and western parts of the city and contributing to the creation of a new urban extension. He affirmed the University Administration’s readiness to receive any complaints or suggestions from students in this regard and to work on addressing them.

During the tour, Dr. Konsowa ensured the completion of all preparations related to the regularity of study, including maintenance works for buildings and facilities, electrical systems, sanitation, and fire protection systems, as well as the preparation of lecture halls, classrooms, laboratories, and libraries, the beautification of gardens, and the installation of guidance signage. He also directed the implementation of an integrated plan for student activities during the second semester, encompassing cultural and sports events and educational seminars, contributing to the development of students’ skills, the building of their personalities, and the enhancement of their participation in university activities.

At the conclusion of the tour, Dr. Konsowa praised the good regularity of study during its initial days and the presence of university leaders and faculty members among their students, affirming the University Administration’s commitment to providing an attractive and well-organized educational environment and supporting all efforts aimed at advancing the educational process.
