Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Abdelaziz Konsowa, President of Alexandria University, the university organized a specialized training program for Government Excellence Ambassadors from various faculties and institutes. The program comes as part of the university’s preparations for launching the second edition of its Internal Excellence Award, in anticipation of participating in the fifth edition of the Egypt Government Excellence Award, held under the auspices of the Ministry of Planning, Economic Development, and International Cooperation.
The workshop reviewed the pillars and criteria of the Government Excellence Model and included practical sessions on the mechanisms of preparing nomination files in line with the approved methodologies. The training aimed to enhance the efficiency of participants and equip them with the tools necessary to apply excellence standards within their academic and administrative institutions.
This training program is part of the university’s strategy to support institutional excellence, build capacities, and promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, in alignment with Egypt’s Vision 2030. It also contributes to advancing institutional performance and achieving leadership among Egyptian universities.
Representatives from various faculties and institutes took part in the training, receiving comprehensive instruction covering excellence criteria, evaluation tools, and nomination application mechanisms. This empowers them to actively disseminate and implement the culture of institutional excellence across different university sectors—marking a strategic step toward administrative and academic distinction.
