Alexandria University's Community Service and Environmental Development Council, chaired by Dr. Saeed Allam, discussed the University's plan for digital transformation. Dr. Saeed Allam confirmed that Alexandria University, under the leadership of Dr. Abdelaziz Konsowa, has developed a comprehensive plan for digital transformation to become a fourth-generation smart university operating according to the best international systems. He noted that Alexandria University aspires to automate all its operations, with the aim of enhancing and digitizing performance across all university departments, faculties, and institutes.
Dr. Saeed Allam emphasized to the vice deans of Faculties and Institutes at Alexandria University, the need to review and maintain the university's buildings during the summer, in preparation for the new academic year without any problems that would hinder the educational process. He also emphasized the need to identify the requirements of classrooms and lecture halls at the university's faculties and institutes for interactive smart screens to enhance their efficiency and transform them into smart interactive classrooms that serve the educational process at Alexandria University. He also emphasized the need for continuous development of the university's educational infrastructure, including restrooms and all university facilities, and to improve the academic work environment for faculty members and students, in line with the university's plan to keep pace with rapid developments in education.
The Council was informed of the report submitted by the Faculties of Arts, Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing, Fine Arts, Specific Education, the Faculty of Economics and Political Science, and the Institute of Graduate Studies and Research regarding the community activities undertaken by these faculties related to community service and environmental development.
