The Women’s Anti-Violence Unit at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Alexandria University, organized a seminar entitled “Mental Health and Psychological Support for Students in Practical Faculties,” under the patronage of Dr. Ahmed Abdel Hakim, Acting President of Alexandria University, and under the supervision of Dr. Afaf El-Awfi, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Dr. Mahmoud Abdel Sabour El-Maghraby, Dean of the Faculty.

The seminar aimed to raise students’ awareness of mental health, highlight the psychological pressures associated with academic and social life, and introduce effective coping strategies, while encouraging students to seek professional support when needed.

The event witnessed active student participation and open discussions on common university challenges, emphasizing the Faculty’s commitment to promoting psychological well-being and fostering a safe, supportive university environment.
