As part of the longstanding academic and research partnership between Alexandria University and the University of Louisville, six engineering students from Alexandria University have completed their participation in the International Summer Training Program at the University of Louisville, held for the fifth consecutive year under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Adel Abdel Hakim, Acting President of Alexandria University.

The program provided students with hands-on experience in applied research projects, training in advanced research techniques, and opportunities to work under the supervision of leading professors and researchers at the University of Louisville, enhancing their academic and research skills in an international environment.

This year’s participants represented Computer and Communications Engineering, Communications and Electronics Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Gas and Petrochemical Engineering programs. At the closing ceremony, the students presented their research projects and findings, highlighting the skills and experience they gained during the program.

The partnership also includes a joint master’s program, offering students a flexible pathway to pursue graduate studies at the University of Louisville. The partnership reflects Alexandria University’s commitment to expanding international education, training, and research opportunities for its students and enhancing their competitiveness in engineering and research fields.
