
As part of Alexandria University’s strategy to strengthen international cooperation and expand its academic partnerships with leading educational institutions worldwide, and under the auspices of Professor Ahmed Adel Abdel Hakim, Acting President of Alexandria University, the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels welcomed an academic delegation from the University of Córdoba, Spain. The visit took place within the framework of the academic cooperation and exchange agreement established between the two universities.
Professor Dina Ezz El-Din, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels and Coordinator of the agreement, stated that the visit aligns with Alexandria University’s commitment to supporting international academic partnerships and enhancing its regional and global presence. She noted that the visit aimed to follow up on the implementation of the agreement's provisions and explore new avenues for scientific and academic collaboration between the two institutions.
During the meeting, both sides discussed ways to strengthen cooperation in the fields of education, scientific research, and academic exchange programs for students and faculty members. They also explored opportunities for joint research projects and the organization of scientific events that would facilitate the exchange of expertise and contribute to the development of the educational process.
The delegation was also introduced to the Faculty’s educational and research capabilities, as well as its role in promoting innovation, academic openness, and collaboration with international institutions, reflecting Alexandria University’s commitment to academic excellence and the expansion of international cooperation.
Both parties emphasized the importance of continuing to develop their mutual collaboration in the coming period in a manner that supports Alexandria University’s internationalization vision and enhances opportunities for students and researchers to benefit from distinguished international academic experiences.
The visit was attended by the Faculty’s vice deans and a number of its academic staff members.
