Department of Oriental Languages ​​and Literature is one of the new departments in the Faculty of Arts; which opened in the academic year 2004/2005 by the decision of the Supreme Council of Universities. The importance of this department to the interest in the study of oriental languages ​​as Persian, Hebrew, Turkish, literature and civilization, which are Languages ​​of Egypt's neighbors in the Middle East, which can have a great impact on the understanding of the cultures and civilizations of these peoples, and ties in Arabic literature and civilization, and this in turn helps to forge closer scientific ties, literary and cultural ties, as well as to consolidate political relations, which leads to open up new job opportunities to graduates of this department ., such as diplomacy, media and translation, tourism and teaching.
