The President of Alexandria University Dr. Essam El Kordi has recently received Dr. Dina Rashad the Professor at Chicago University to discuss ways of cooperation to provide scholarships for students from Alexandria University to study Economy and Political Science in Chicago.

Dr. Kurdi said that the university is keen on developing personal skills of its students beside their academic study. He added that a new curricula for community service for all university students as a prerequisite for graduation.

Dr. Dina Rashad appraised the competency of Egyptian students and declared that interview will be conducted for candidates for the scholarships, and also a certificate for English language level will be provided.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Hisham Gaber; the University Vice-President for Education and Students Affairs and Dr. Gihan Gwifl the Assistant of University Deputy for International Cooperation.
